1 out of 5 stars Blazing Angels   November 1, 2008

After reading some of the other reviews I went and bought this game and it's rubbish. If the other reviewers think this is good - they can't of ever played a propper realistic sim. Maybe I've been spoiled by playing other sims on my pc, but on Wii this is very poor indeed. The planes aren't even fully aerobatic, so if you are used to being in full control-forget it. PC based games like European Airwar made back in 1990's make Blazing Angels look like a kids game - so maybe that's what it is.

5 out of 5 stars The Best WW2 simulator by far   September 23, 2008

Lets start off. The missions are hard, yes. You are an american pilot yes. But it has all the vintage aircraft, even the spitfire V, which is a BRITISH AIRCRAFT. The graphics are awesome, and the camera operation is so clever. If you press A on the wii remote, it turns you round to see the enemy. Frankly the best WW2 and simulator i have ever played on any platform. Brilliant all round.

4 out of 5 stars Greatest game ever   August 26, 2008

I Have to say I bought this game with high expectations and was not disapointed, not only are the campaign levels easily playable with great graphics but the standalone games and multiplayers are completly addictive. I took this game round a mates house who was a little skeptical about it we played into the wee hours of the morning he is now ordering his own copy.

I have to say to any gamers who like WWII games you will love this hell if you love gaming you'll love this. My advice if you own a Wii own this game.

I was looking out for a flying game that also had some shoot em up action and Blazing Angles does not dissapoint.

At first it took a little while to get used to the controls , I used the remote and nunchuck option. The first training campaign takes you through all the contols you are going to use and then the next campaign (Dunkirk) is a little easier.

The graphics are good and although sometimes there is a little delay in the controls but this is not too often to make it a problem.

I am looking forward to working through the campaigns and if you are looking for a game that has flying and shooting and don't want anything advanced like the PC flight simulator then this is for you.

My favourite game for the Wii so far, if you like flight sims come shoot up then this is for you. Love the use of the nunchuck just like stick control.
