Anyone who enjoyed the original game won't be disapointed with this, especially as the original game and the sequel is included on this disc. So even if you don't like the new version, you can still play it the old way.

My brothers and I used to waste huge amounts of time playing this together on our old Amiga and it's still a great game to play with a friend on the Wii. Everything you loved about the old game is still here, the format has not been changed a great deal. The main difference is that you can climb on the front of the buildings as well as up and down the sides and you have a couple of basic special moves and some complex ones you learn as bonuses. The camera zooms in and out automatically and is quite well controlled, it doesn't distract or annoy. It's a little bit harder to knock the helicopters out of the sky and pick up cars and people, but once you get a grip on the moves it gets easier. You can play this game without a nunchuk, but it's much more difficult to move your monster around and I wouldn't recommend it.

The best bit of the game is picking up a bus or tram, tipping it up to eat all the passengers then aiming and throwing it at a building where it explodes causing even more damage.

This game is similar to Eledees because it appeals to the destructive element in us all, but has a fairly simple concept and it gives you a certain amount of freedom in the environment to do what you want. It doesn't have as much lasting appeal as a single player game and as the other reviewers have said; it's good for a few rounds of therapy but I think it makes a great multiplayer game for people in a similar state of mind.

This game is good value for money if you want something to play for 30-45 minutes at a time. The game play is very simple and not particularly varied but that doesn't detract from the fun, and still becomes very immersive. You basically move from building to building using a limited set of moves to cause destruction. Most buildings have various power-ups which you collect as you move around. Police patrols and army helicopters provide some distraction as they shoot at you, and you can take pleasure in eating the patrolmen and knocking the helicopters out of the sky!

Each block within a city usually takes around 5 minutes to flatten, and there around 8 or so per city. The final block has a "boss" which is an additional objective to destroying the last buildings in the city.

London is included so I look forward to getting to that part!

I would recommend this game to anyone looking for something simple to play for short periods of time.

I picked this game up over the weekend as it was going for cheap in a local shop. I hadn't really seen any reviews for it or anything but used to play the old arcade machine as a kid.

The main games is pretty fun, there's a large selection of monsters but they all control the same. It takes a little bit of time to get used to the control scheme, don't even bother trying to playing without the Nunchuk attachment. It works but it is REALLY confusing! Once you've got the moves worked out you can destroy different cities around the world and complete some extra challenges on the way which unlock special moves and new monsters adding some replay value.

The game is pretty simple, and fairly samey but it is great for a quick blast, especially if you're playing with someone else for 30mins at a time or so. If the game was full price I wouldn't suggest you get it, but as it's such a cheap title I think it's well worth grabbing. The game also comes with the original arcade version of the game which I've put almost as much time into as the main game itself!
