OMG! A right head doer! December 27, 2008 M. J. Roberts (Worcester, UK) I bought this for my sons for christmas to go with their Wii. Stupidly thinking my 5 and 10 year olds would have fun playing it. After having a go myself and the whole family having a go at how poorly I was doing, my hubby took over. He soon realised it was the game at fault not me! The little so and so will not always attack the cakes, getting you killed and meaning any progress has to be done all over again! He won't jump when you ask him too, but swipes instead! A nightmare! I think this will be left in its case from now on! I think I should have read the reviews first.
Like punishment to play October 4, 2008 Michael J. Mathews (Worcestershire United Kingdom) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My 11 year old gave up after about 20 minutes of trying to jump up the same obstacle, and when I took over I found the controls to be almost unusable.
A very poor game August 20, 2008 R. Harris 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I generally agree with the earlier reviews. My 11 and 13 year old got very frustrated with this game and refused to play it after about half an hour. I could only play it for any period of time once I discovered that button z allows you to jump. Attempting to use the nunchuck as the game suggests is wiimote throwingly frustrating! There are only 4 levels in this game. One of those is the usual training mission. The gameplay is simplistic, frustrating and repetitive. In my opinion not at all suitable for kids. For anyone who is wondering the reward for persevering with this to completion is absolutely nothing. It only took me two hours to complete. Save your money and your time. Steer clear.
it's just terrible. July 8, 2008 I. M. Evans Storrie 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
seriously, you only buy this game to show other people so that THEY won't buy it.
Fails to deliver the gaming quality promised by the art work May 6, 2008 Dr. L. Jones (london) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
Bought this game on a whim after just buying my wii, thinking it'd be a fun platform to start off my wii-journey. Bitterly dissappointed: the controls are inconsistent and awkward, the character either moves at a foot crumblingly slow pace or faster than a bolting bunny at the race track. The game play is poorly thought out and requires far too much jumping with said inconsistent controls - 30 minutes of trying to bounce up the same damn layered cookie mushroom thingy is enough to put anyone off. And plot? anyone? nope. i really hoped this would be a fun platform being a kick-ass cookie nuking cakes, but i just wasted my money and from what i can see, you can't even ebay this one to get half of your money back. avoid like the proverbial plague.
