When an evil darkness enshrouds the land of Hyrule, a young farm boy named Link must awaken the hero - and the animal - within. Link, a young man raised as a wrangler in a small, rural village, is ordered by the mayor to attend the Hyrule Summit. He sets off, oblivious to the dark fate that has descended upon the kingdom. When he enters the Twilight Realm that has covered Hyrule, he transforms into a wolf and is captured. A mysterious figure named Midna helps him break free. With the aid of her magic, they set off to free the land from the shadows. Link must explore the vast land of Hyrule and uncover the mystery behind its plunge into darkness. As he does, he'll have to enlist the aid of friendly folk, solve puzzles and battle his way through dangerous dungeons. In the Twilight Realm, he'll have to use his wolf abilities and Midna's magic to bring light to the land. The Metroid Prime trilogy comes to an end on the Wii, using not just the console’s improved graphical abilities but also the full range of the controller’s features. Half first person shooter, half Zelda style Sci-Fi adventure this is destined to be one of the best games of the next generation. The lowdown:
The Wii remote and nunchuck have what seems like an infinite range of functions but of all the games shown so far this is the only one that seems to use every single one. Although there is still a lock-on option for attacking enemies you can now play the game more like a first person shoot aem-up as you target enemies instantly, just by pointing with the Wii remote. All of the buttons, including the D-pad, are used to access Samus's various abilities, which are added to with new uses for the grappling hook. This now works like a whip, allowing you to nab enemy shields by simply flicking the nunchuck (which also has a motion sensor in it) forward. Most exciting moment:
The best bit of the lengthy E3 demo is an amazing boss fight with regular series villain Ridley, as you both fall through a giant energy shaft. Not only do you have to dodge his attacks but you have to beat him before you both end up splatted at the bottom of the shaft. Since you ask:
The game’s graphics are noticeably improved from the GameCube titles, with much more detailed enemies and much larger game areas. There’s also a lot more enemies onscreen at once, as well as apparently friendly fellow bounty hunters. The bottom line:
The legendary series evolves again, with the best use of the Wii’s controller yet.

The best way to describe this game is brilliant, it makes you think about what you are doing aswell as enjoying it, right at the beginning - when you have rounded up the goats on the ranch and you jump into the village, you have little mysteries to solve, you approach people and speak to them, and they each have a little problem, you need to sort out their problem, for instance the small thin man moaning about the bees nest - you have to figure out how to knock down the bees nest, I wont give too much away but you have to buy a sling shot from the local shop, I used the sling shot to knock down the bee hive, also the lady who owns the shop has lost her cat, so until you find her cat and return it - you cannot buy anything from her shop! The graphics are phenomenal, really enhances the game to feel as though you are watching a dvd in some parts, I am 21 years old and although its not really scary or techincal, I thoroughly enjoy playing on it. There are quite a few surprises - I wont give too much away but you dont stay human after you complete the first part! I think this game deserves a 5* rating as I am quite drawn into the graphics and finding out any more surprises, not an average rescue/fighting game, your character changes, you can ride a horse, you can solve puzzles - I recommend this game to EVERYONE!

This is a great game, plot is great, puzzles are great, and its generally great, its great fun long and good graphics, i have completed it 2 times from the beginning i enjoyed it so much! There are just a few things i want to say about this game that are not so good.
1. Fighting
This is the thing i hate most about it! the fighting is way to easy, most enemies are easy to dodge and die in a few blows. I ended up doing the whole game with no shield hyrule sword and 3 hearts the second time i completed it. It was a little harder. I have to say some of the bosses like that guy who rides a hog on foot with a big hammer are much harder than the ending boss. (in fact he was the only thing i found hard on 3 hearts because he takes off 3 hearts =/) but seriously, they need to make an easy medium and hard mode (this game would be the very easy mode)
2.Items
I have to say that you only use about 2 items per dungeon, and it would be really nice if you had to use almost your whole arsenal in every dungeon. The gale boomerang for example. I only ever used it in the first dungeon and the last and all the other times it lay in my backpack forgotten. Also rupees easily fill up your wallet in hardly any time and i never spent them and bombs never seem to get used. I've got 3 full bomb bags that I havent had to fill for basically the whole game.
3.Warping
I have to say even though some of you are gonna disagree it gets boring just warping everywhere. I think they should of only had warping at the bits where you are in twilight realm.
But i still say you should get this game, even if these advantages are annoying, you only ever notice them when youve completed it and look back. I personally think this was a great buy and i recommend it on.

This is my second legend of zelda game, after thouroughly engoying The legend of zelda, the wind waker I decided to treat myself to another. After just 5 minuites I was completly absorbed in the whismical beauty of the scenery. The charecters are well designed and thoughrly thought about, and the in-game possibilities are endless! When you get far in the game, there are more things to explore and do, and it makes you wish you were right there! I'ts a perfect mix of ludricous fun, gripping thrill, buzzing exitement and perfect beauty and awe. The items are crazily fantastic too, and they include underwater bombs, magic potions, underwater armour, bomb arrows and the good old fashioned boomarang! It's very involving, as you are not just pressing buttons, but acually doing the actions! This, by far is the best game I have ever played. Buy it and see!

The Zelda adventures have always been a very popular ones and this title is no exception. This is probably the best Zelda adventure so far and seemis the wii was designed for this game. It produces days and days of entertainment for anyone who plays it. This game will still be enjoyable in years to come

If you have a Wii, buy this game. Don't buy Super Mario Galaxy. Don't buy Wii Play. Buy this, because it is utterly fantastic.
Graphics: 9.5/10
Some criticize Twilight Princess's graphics, but they have no reason to. Expect beautiful effects and textures, with some lovely cutscenes.
Music: 9.1/10
Great soundtrack all round, from soft, mysterious twilight music to terrifying Ganon-accompanying thunder. Could have done with some orchestrated tunes though.
Gameplay: 10/10
Swordfighting controls work perfectly, as all the combat does. The puzzles are just right, the boss fights hugely enjoyable and the characters well written, but it is the story that really stands out. It will make you laugh, cry, jump for joy and seeth with hatred.
Lasting appeal: 9/10
You'll want to collect all the golden bugs and poe souls, buy the magic armour, collect all the heart pieces, complete the cave of ordeals, and maybe catch that elusive Hyrulian carp, but to be quite honest you are going to want to play this game all the way again- and that will take no short time. Even the fastest player rushing through this won't be able to complete it in any less than 30-35 hours, and normal player will be taking 40-50.
Overall score- 9.9/10
Summary:
Just buy this. Seriously. Buy it right now.
