3 out of 5 stars You can do better next time!   September 5, 2010
DVD Fan (london, United Kingdom)
That is something you will hear quite often on this! Unfortunately it does seem to have trouble picking up some of your reps, movements. Which means at the end it says you haven't done as many as you have and get a low completion percentage. Seems to effect the marching jogging most of the time. Going slow and swinging the arms seems to help. However even on the punches it will tell to that haven't done the set amount when you have! So this part is quite frustrating. Also I have to add push ups of any sort using the wii board are very difficult.
On the plus side there are lots of details, the workouts start quite short and build up the amount of exercises and reps each time. It will vary slightly from day to day. You can set a main goal and secondary goal. It has a few test challenges which seem like they could be quite hard. 4 choices of trainer, and background. This will even help choose your meals for you if you want that level of help. I just use it for a quick daily workout. Another issue is not being able to tailor make your own work list of exercises. I have largely used the Wii fit plus so far. That is more fun in terms of games, using the yoga section. The workouts on there are a good mix and you can choose what ones you want to do or create you own combination of exercises. The best thing about this over wii fit is seeing a real person training with you. If you want help right down to diet as well, otherwise I have to say I might be returning to my Wii fit plus very soon!

so not able to print off shopping lists or other menu choices.
have e-mailed contacts and get no reply. Not worth the money.

1 out of 5 stars If I could give it no stars, I would!   August 19, 2010

This is no where near as good as Wiifit. The fitness programmes are unimaginative and frustrating as the Board does not register all movements. Even the regular exerciser programme is too easy and not challenging. The nutrition and diet tips are basic. Thank goodness I was given this and didn't buy it.

3 out of 5 stars Not for those with bad knees   July 30, 2010
V. Gregory (Wales, UK)
I liked the look of this game, it has different goals you can choose from, and it weighs you. But once I started it, I ran into a problem, they expect you to get down on your hands and knees and do lots of exercises like push ups etc. My knees just wont take it, it is too painful, I have athritis which doesn't bother me often, but I don't like doing things on my knees. Most of the exercises seem to be just this.

Also, their seems to be little actual cardio, which is what I was looking for. I just don't like it, and the trainers pull silly, annoying expressions or tell you you have failed, and the weight changes constantly from one minute to the next.

it could be good, if you are OK kneeling down and want some non cardio exercises, but if you are looking for weight loss, I fail to see how this could work?

1 out of 5 stars Boring execises   June 9, 2010
Silvia Coradeschi (Sweden)
I did not really like this exercise game. It is very boring with the same execises every time. The routine is quite short and not challenging. In addition the system has difficulty in recognize that the exercises are done correctly and insists that one is wrong even if actually the movement is correct. It also stops if it belives that one is doing the execise wrong. Quite anoying. At the end of every exercise it gives a mark interupting the flow of exercises.
