5 out of 5 stars EA Active more workouts   July 26, 2010
Emma
I wasn't sure that I needed the next game, but now I've played it I realise I was wrong.
I like the original version of this game, but this version not only introduces warm ups and cool downs but a whole range of new exercises.
I particularly like the obstacle course.

4 out of 5 stars Ea active   July 25, 2010

I have wii fit which is ok but the EA active is much better and I am really enjoying using it. It is much more of a workout than the wii fit and there is lots of options to customize your fitness. It can be a bit tricky to get in the correct position for some of the exercises but with practice it is fine. You can use with your wii board as well for some exercises. You need to purchase the resistance bands and leg strap to be able to use this game, you can purchase these on amazon and one of the options has another game with it so extra value. Very pleased with it.

3 out of 5 stars Not for the unfit   July 16, 2010
V. Gregory (Wales, UK)
I had great hopes for this game, I thought I could use it continue trying to get fit, but actually it isn't made for the very overweight or very unfit like me. The 6 weeks challenge focuses too much on muscle exercises, which are often too hard for the beginner, and not enough on cardio, which is what I need to lose weight. I feel after doing my 6 week challenge exercises I must go and do some cardio in order to keep the weight coming off. Plus it really should come with the accessories, although I have made my own and bought some resistance bands.

I hoped this game would keep me from getting bored with exercising, but I don't think it will at all, I am already getting bored and I haven't had it long. I hope I can stick out the 6 week challenge at least.

Disappointing all in all. If you are unfit, or very overweight, don't start here!

4 out of 5 stars Even better   June 15, 2010
LC (Anglia, UK)
A definite improvement on the original (still minus a star for the leg strap)warm-up, cool-down and ab work is now included which was sorely missing from the first version.
More variation in the exercises is a welcome change (if you have the first one you will be bored of lunges),and the obstacle course and running sections are far more appealing than the old running track.
This has been extremely effective for me in combination with several other Wii fitness games but this is the one I do regularly (just coming to the end of the 6 week challenge on hard and will probably start it again immediatley). The others are occasional use when I feel like doing a bit more but something different.

4 out of 5 stars Better than the previous version   June 9, 2010

I own several of the wii exercise games and this is one of the best. I like it more than the previous EA version. If you do not own the first EA I would suggest to go for this one directly. The range of exercises is more complete with also few abdominal exercises. The condition part is better and more varied. In my opinion you do not need either the board or the leg strap. I put the nuk in a pocket instead. You need however a resistance band, but you can buy one in a normal sport shop.
