1 out of 5 stars But this for the pc, NOT Wii!!   November 13, 2008
Lisette
I just played the game, and can't begin to tell you how annoyed I am with the fact that I spent money on this.
I love the CSI games, and I love the Wii, but they don't mesh.
It's impossible to aim at things, and even if you do, you still need to click while keeping the aim right, which is extremely frustrating.
It took me forever to even get through the training level.
If this review would have been for the pc version of the game, I'm sure I would have giving 5 stars, because the previous CSI games I played (all) are great fun, and defenitly worth your money.
So go and buy this for the pc! Scoot! Don't even think about getting this for the Wii, buy other things for the Wii, nice things like Wii Sports or whatever, but not this.

2 out of 5 stars Very restricted game play   May 22, 2008

I have heard of but not watched the TV series. I bought the game simply because there is precious little to choose from for the Wii console yet. I've really enjoyed the Harry Potter game, my partner spent hours on Resident Evil IV. Both these other games offer 360 degree game play and reasonable freedom to move in a range of directions, and to choose the order in which you tackle or ignore certain game options.

Both of us really disliked this game. We found ourselves being forced to search limited areas for obvious clues. Taking these clues back to the labs and using the equipment was no fun either - it's fairly obvious which machines to use, there are limited options here. The worst part was when you tried to interview someone. The game gives you a small choice of quetsions to ask, you end up asking them all.

There seem to be no alternative outcomes or lines of investigaiton that you can follow. It all feels completely predetermined rather than interactive.

Very limited value for money. Not recommended.

3 out of 5 stars Good game but short   April 11, 2008

It was an enjoyable game to play, but I found that it was short game and it only took me a couple of days to complete it. If you like a game you need to use your brain, then this is the game for you. But you will be disappointed that it is short

It was my husband that wanted this game as he is a fan of the TV show. I don't watch it but this game has me totally hooked! It was great value for money. Very different from other games. A must have game.

4 out of 5 stars Fun game that will keep you challenged and amused   March 26, 2008

I just got this game yesterday and so far im impressed and its good fun to play. Im playing it on the Wii which might add to the fun factor.

Its got the right voices and the scenery and items etc. are detailed enough. There is plenty to do and you can change the level of difficulty via the options which is good. Its new cases which I havnt seen on any other CSI game which is refreshing plus there are more lab machines to interact with and matching fingerprints etc. is harder work which is a plus.

My boyfriend and I are playing it together which is fun and we have nearly finished the first case. As we get better at it I might make it more difficult.

The only downside I can see is some people might criticise the graphics as they could be better but when I play a game on the Wii its not for the graphics but for the fun factor of being involved and the interaction.
